WARM UP: You will be given a graphic organizer to write the warm ups in. Quietly staple it on the back of the front page(the same place you stapled your Science Starters). Write your name and the week(example Sept.7th). Under Monday answer these questions in 5 minutes:

Which lines are like ladders(going up-down)?
Which lines are measured by degrees?
Essential Question:
Open your textbook on page A3 and read the paragraph on PROJECTIONS. At the back of your guided notes you will find the different projections. After reading label each one in your notebook.
Using the World and USA maps on A 17 and A 21 do the practice on latitude and longitude.
Write the title MAPS on the odd numbered page coming up. Lets check the Table of Contents and make sure you have everything recorder properly.
HW: Working with maps. Due tomorrow.
